I began my business in 1982 with my brother in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2000, I moved to Bloomington with my Hoosier born wife Kim to enjoy a slower paced lifestyle. I started Bruce Johnson Hardwood Floors that year and since 1982 have installed, restored and repaired more than 2,000 floors. We are very happy that we made the decision to live in Bloomington because it is a wonderful, vibrant community that continues to get better every year.
I love creating beautiful new floors and take a lot of pride in what I do. When I’m not working on hardwood floors, I like to play golf and paint.
